Urine and Faeces
85. Urine and faeces of the following living beings are Najis:
Animals, whose meat is Haraam to eat, and whose blood gushes out forcefully when its large vein (jugular) is slit.
As per obligatory precaution the urine of an animal whose blood does not gush forth forcefully and its meat is Haraam, should be avoided; however, the excretion of those animals who are Haraam to eat, whether big or small, like mosquito and flies, which don’t have meat, are Pak.
86. The urine and excretion of those birds which are Haraam to eat, is Pak, however it is better to avoid them, especially from Bat, especially its urine.
87. The urine and excretion of an animal who subsists on Najasat, and an animal that has been defiled by a human being, means a person has committed a sexual intercourse with that animal, are Najis. Similarly, the urine and excretion of a goat, or as per obligatory precaution, every animal whose meat is Halaal to eat, if it is nursed by a pig, is Najis.
