Condolence Message by Grand Ayatollah on the demise of Dr. Kalbe Sadiq Naqvi.
In the name of Allah, the All-Beneficent, the All-Merciful.
‘Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return’.
With immense sorrow and grief did we receive the news of the demise of a great scholar, a propagator and preacher of the luminous teachings of the Holy Qur’an and Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), a member of Prophet’s progeny, Dr. Syed Kalbe Sadiq Naqvi (ra).
He was someone to whom all the Shias are indebted due to his tireless efforts for the community. I had close acquaintance with him and I knew him as a man who was committed, humble, pious, devoted and determined, and one who guided the people towards the straight path with his good behavior. I express my hearty condolences to the intellectual and religious societies of India and to the honorable Naqvi family and all their devotees, on the demise of this prominent scholar, and I ask Allah (swt) to elevate his position.
