The Qibla

1. The Ka’bah which is situated in the city of Makkah, inside the Masjid ul-Haram is the Qibla, and a person who intends to pray must face towards this direction.
2. If someone who is out of the city of Makkah and is far away, stands in such a way that it can be said he is praying facing the Qibla, then this is sufficient.
