Dead body

89. The dead body of any animal whose blood gushes forth with force is Najis, irrespective of whether it dies a natural death, or is killed in a manner other than that prescribed by Islam. As the blood of a fish does not gush forth, its dead body is Pak, even if it dies in water.

90. Those parts of a dead body which do not have life like wool, hair, teeth, nails, bones and horns are Pak.

91. If flesh, or any other part which contains life, is cut off from the body of a living human being, or a living animal whose blood gushes forth, it will be Najis.

92. Small pieces of skin which are about to peel off from the lips, or other parts of the body, even if they get pulled out, are Pak. However, as per obligatory precaution the piece of skin which has not yet reached when it can be peeled off, and someone has peeled it off, it is better to take precautionary measures in such cases.

93. An egg which has been taken out from the body of a dead hen is Pak if its skin is stiffened but its exterior must be washed.

94. If a lamb or a kid dies before it is able to graze, the rennet (cheese) found in its stomach is Pak, but its exterior should be washed with water.

95. The liquid medicines, perfumes, ghee, soap and wax polish which are imported, if one is not sure of them being Najis, are Pak.

96. Fat, meat and skin of an animal, which are bought from Muslim Bazaar (Market) and from a Muslim, is Pak. And if it has been bought from Muslim Bazaar from a non – Muslim then as per obligatory precaution one should take precautionary measures regarding them, however if one is sure that the non – Muslim seller has bought it from a Muslim. However, if these things are obtained from a non – Muslim Bazaar and from a non – Muslim, it is Najis. But, if one is sure that it has been brought from a Muslim country then it is not Najis. As per obligatory precaution if a Muslim is selling the mentioned product in a Non – Muslim Bazaar, one should take precautionary measures, or unless other Muslims treat it as it is slaughtered according to Islamic Law, and by which one can assume it as Halaal, in that case it is Pak.
